Day 4BUKHARA – SAMARKAND
This morning, embark on your city tour starting at Poi-Kalyan to capture grand shots of Kalyan Minaret and Kalyan Mosque. Explore the oldest structure in Bukhara, Ark Citadel, a fortress that houses a city with royal palaces, government offices, stables and libraries. Proceed to Bolo Hauz meaning “above the pool”, renowned for its 40-pillar mosque beautifully reflected in the pond. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Trading Domes, the most extensive bazaar in Bukhara where you can purchase unique souvenirs crafted by local artisans. After lunch, board the high-speed train to UNESCO-listed Samarkand, a crossroad of cultures. As the evening sets, get your camera ready to capture the music and light show at Registan Square.

Day 5SAMARKAND
Today, visit Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Amir Timur, a conqueror who dominated Central Asia in the late 14th century until his death in 1405. Thereafter, visit one of the most picturesque monuments of ancient history, Shakhi-Zinda memorial ensemble. The buildings are made of blue and turquoise tiles and are considered masterpieces of architecture. The necropolis is associated with the religious figure, Qusama Ibn Abbas, a cousin of the prophet Muhammad. Stroll through the heart of the city’s social life, Registan Square, a showcase of intricate Islamic architecture and a prime example of urban development art in Central Asia. Thereafter, indulge in a unique wine tasting experience at The Wine Museum of Winemaking and Tasting. Next, enjoy an authentic shopping experience at the largest market in Samarkand, Siab Bazaar where a wide variety of spices, fresh breads, meats and local cuisines can be found.

Day 6SAMARKAND – TASHKENT
After breakfast, visit Eternal City, an 11-hectare site within Samarkand, recreating the history and traditions of Uzbekistan. Start your exploration with a boat ride allowing you to admire the architectural wonders and wander through streets adorned with houses and squares inspired by descriptions in ancient books, along with artisan shops. Thereafter, immerse yourself in a cultural experience at Konigil Village where you can partake in traditional costume dress-up, indulge in tea tasting and enjoy a DIY pottery session. In the evening, board the high-speed train to Tashkent.
